Preliminary Task

Our Preliminary task was only a rough idea and i believe that it went quite well, as we learnt some basic camera work, how to take simple shots as well in the editing process, how to create simple cuts between takes. If we were going to do this task again, i would have liked to use more contact between our group to make sure we knew exactly where we are filming and which rooms we were filming in. In the preliminary task when drawing the story board we did not know exactly what the kitchen looked like in the house and we were going to film in one of our friends house's. In the future i would like to make sure we knew where the shots would have been taken. For example the fridge was too small to hide behind, where as in the story board i pictured a huge door where the character could hide. I think this was a good learning experience and look forward to do more research and planning to prepare myself for the main task and learning more about the camera work and editing process.
